Well, I got tired of it being fake. It’s real now.” So, yep, it’s actually a thing. And, how does it work? Well, through the power of the GameCube’s successor, the Wii. Inside GingerOfOz’s portable GameCube hides a (very compact) Wii console. As such, thanks to backwards compatibility, all of the GameCube’s games are fully playable....

As previously announced, Ubisoft Forward gets underway on Twitch, YouTube, and Ubisoft’s website this Saturday, 10th September, from 8pm in the UK. Those with a little more time on their hands can start even earlier, with a pre-show scheduled to run from 7.35pm BST, promising news on the latest seasons, characters, and content from Anno 1800, Brawlhalla, For Honor, The Crew 2, and more. It’s intimidating for me, at least, and I’ve been bumbling around these turn-based overworlds since the Medieval era. Warhammer 3, as a likely result of those decades of iteration, has an extraordinary amount of systems to it. It’s overloaded at times, caught up in the fun of all that Daemonic excess. But that’s also the joy of it. This is the silliest, most convoluted, most chaotically maximalist Total War game I’ve played....

Ubisoft’s pirate ship battler - a spin-off from 2013 Assassin’s Creed game Black Flag - has been repeatedly delayed, though test footage leaked late last month suggested a launch was now finally on the horizon. Today, Ubisoft reconfirmed it would indeed see the light of day this financial year (before 1st April 2023). Also up this year, finally, is Ubisoft’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Developed by The Division studio Massive Entertainment, it was first announced more than five years ago....

The second chapter of Undertale follow-up Deltarune arrived last week, following a three-year wait from the first. It also arrived for free - contrary to Fox’s previous plans. In a new blog post on Deltarune’s development, Fox said his “next goal” was to complete Chapters 3, 4, and 5, then ask people to purchase the game at a price that was fair for the first five chapters. “I don’t know the price yet, but it’s definitely going to cost more than Undertale,” Fox wrote....
