To help you decide whether you have enough time for Control, this guide covers exactly how long Control is and how many missions it contains - doing the same for both the Foundation and AWE. For more information about Control, check out our Control walkthrough or Eurogamer’s review of Control if you’re still unsure about whether you want to play it. On this page: If you want to complete the main campaign of Control, including all the side missions, then you should expect it to take roughly eleven to fifteen hours. If, however, you’d prefer to simply play through the main campaign, then it will take between ten to eleven hours. This time might be shorter if you use the Assist Mode to make Control easier. Each one consists of multiple objectives which you’ll need to complete to move forward; you can find your current objective either by looking in the top left-hand corner or by visiting the Mission sub-menu in Control’s main menu. There are 18 side missions for you to complete throughout the main campaign of Control. These include the What the Mess series, which sees you helping out Ahti the janitor, and a number of missions that will unlock new abilities for Jessie, such as A Captive Audience that will teach her the Seize ability. The Foundation DLC may take you an additional two to three hours if you want to complete all the side missions, especially Jessie Faden starring in ‘Swift Platform,’ and earn all of the trophies for this DLC, which include finding every collectible in The Foundation. If you want to complete all the side missions and achievements in the AWE DLC, then it will take you an additional one to two hours. This is due to the side missions being shorter and less combat based and that most of them can be completed alongside the storyline for the AWE DLC. It’s time to journey into the mysterious Federal Bureau of Control. Our Control walkthrough can help you through the storyline missions, including Welcome to the Oldest House, Unknown Caller, Directorial Override, Old Boy’s Club, Threshold, My Brother’s Keeper, The Face of the Enemy, Finnish Tango, Polaris and Take Control. You can also learn new supernatural powers by completing A Merry Chase, A Good Defence and A Captive Audience. We also have guides on upgrading the Service Weapon, your Abilities, how to use Weapon and Personal Mods, how to unlock every outfit and the solution to the Roulette Wheel puzzle. The AWE DLC also consists of three main missions - starting with A Dark Place and ending with It’s Happening Again. You can find six new side missions throughout the Investigation Sector, with three being new tasks from Ahti all falling beneath the ‘Another Mess’ title. Like with the main campaign for Control, each mission and side mission in the DLCs contains multiple objectives which need to be completed. Through, unlike the main campaign, you’re given a degree of freedom in which to complete the objectives in certain missions. These DLC missions can be found in either the top left-hand corner or within the Mission sub-menu in the Control’s main menu.
